Rhinella bernardoi Sanabria, Quiroga, Arias, and Cortez, 2010, Zootaxa, 2396: 51. Holotype: FML 18400, by original designation. Type locality: "Ischigualasto Provincial Park, Valle Fértil Department, San Juan Province, Argentina (30° 10′ 9″S; 67° 48′37″ W; 1400 m)".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality in Ischigualasto Provincial Park, Valle Fértil Department, and 170 km to the south in the Department of Caucete, both in San Juan Province, Argentina, 743-1400 m elevation.

Comment

In the Rhinella granulosa group according to the original publication. Sanabria, Quiroga, Cano, Cortez, and Marinero, 2011, Herpetol. Rev., 42: 108, provided a second record 170 km to the south of the type locality and commented on the range.
