Bufo arborescandens Duellman and Schulte, 1992, Copeia, 1992: 162. Holotype: KU 209395, by original designation. Type locality: "from a pass approx. 5 km (by road) NE of Mendoza (06°18′S, 77°27′W, elev. approx. 2400 m), Provincia Rodriguez de Mendoza, Departamento de Amazonas, Peru".
