Distribution
Throughout the Atlantic rainforest from the state of Paraná to southern Santa Catarina and areas of the northern part of Rio Grando do Sul; limited by the hills of Serra do Mar to the north and Serra Geral to the west, Brazil.
Comment
In the Bufo crucifer group according to the original publication. Fehlberg, Natali, Pezzuti, and Garcia, 2012, Zootaxa, 3559: 37-38, reported on larval morphology.
