Comment

See account, discussion, and synonymy by Hoogmoed, 1989, Zool. Verh., Leiden, 250: 6-18, who considered this species to most likely be in the Bufo guttatus group. It's inclusion in Rhaebo is obviously provisional (DRF). See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status (as Bufo caeruleostictus) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 179.
