Bufo kavangensis Poynton and Broadley, 1988, Ann. Natal Mus., 29: 472-475. Holotype: NMZB 19074, by original designation. Type locality: "Khwai River, Botswana".

Distribution

Grassland areas of northern Namibia and southwestern Angola east through northern Botswana to northwestern Zimbabwe; presumably to be found in adjacent Zambia.

Comment

Most closely resembling Bufo beirus (in the Bufo vertebralis group), according to the original publication. See comment under Poyntonophrynus dombensis. Channing, 2001, Amph. Cent. S.
