Nectophryne misera Mocquard, 1890, Nouv. Arch. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat. Paris, Ser. 3, 2: 161. Syntypes: MNHNP 1889.331-332 (3 specimens total), according to Guibé, 1950 "1948", Cat. Types Amph. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat.: 16. Roux, 1906, Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1906: 59, considered there to be a single type in the MNHNP. Type locality: "nord de Borneo", Malaysia; restricted to "Kadamaian iver, Mt. Kinabalu", Sabah, Malaysia by Malkmus, Manthey, Vogel, Hoffmann, and Kosuch, 2002, Amph. Rept. Mount Kinabalu: 85.

Distribution

Mountains of Sabah and northeastern Sarawak (Malaysia), northwestern Borneo.
