Pedostibes rugosus Inger, 1958, Sarawak Mus. J., 8: 476. Holotype: FMNH 81297, by original designation. Type locality: "Menuang, headwaters of the Baleh River", Third Division, Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo).

Distribution
Forests of northern Borneo in Sarawak and Sabah (Malaysia, Brunei, and adjacent Kalimanta, Indonesia, 150-1050 m elevation.
