Comment

Mueses-Cisneros, 2003, Caldasia, 25: 422, provided a brief account for Colombia. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 201. See comments by Cisneros-Heredia and Gluesenkamp, 2011 "2010", Avanc. Cienc. Ingen., Quito, Secc. B, 2 (3): 64-73, suggested that identifications of this species away from the type locality require verification and may represent undescribed taxa.
