Type locality: "near Guarumos, approximately 200 m from the Guarumos guard post on the Nono-Tandayapa road, 11 km WNW of the town of Nono (00° 02′ S, 78° 39′ W, 2550-2600m), provincia de Pichincha, República del Ecuador".
