Oreophrynella weiassipuensis Señaris, DoNascimiento, and Villarreal, 2005, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 45: 62. Holotype: MHNLS 15913, by original designation. Type locality: "Wei-Assipu-tepui, Sima de los Guácharos, 280 m north of the heliport, 2280 m a.s.l. (coordinates of the heliport 5° 13′ 1″ N, 60° 42′ 19″ W), Brazil--Guyana border".
