Oreophryne Quelchii Boulenger, 1895, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 6, 15: 521. Syntypes: BMNH 95.4.19.1-5, 99.3.25.7-13, KU 126081-82 (formerly BMNH 99.3.25.14-15), ZFMK, MCZ 3500-02 (on exchange from BMNH according to Barbour and Loveridge, 1929, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 69: 311), according to M.S. Hoogmoed in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 71. Type locality: "summit of Mount Roraima, between British Guiana [= Guyana] and Venezuela, at an altitude of 8500 feet".

English Names

Roraima Bush Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 45).

Distribution

Cerro Roraima, Venezuela and Guyana, presumably into Brazil on this same massif.
