Type locality: "BRAZIL, MINAS GERAIS, Pico do Selado (22° 53′ 05″ S, 46° 01′ 43″ W; ca. 2000 m altitude), District of Monte Verde, Municipality of Camanducaia, State of Minas Gerais, Southeastern Brazil".
