Bufo ledongensis Fei, Ye, and Huang In Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 503. Holotype: CIB 90417, by original designation. Type locality: "Jianfengling of Ledong Co., Hainan Prov., altitude 760 m", China.

Ingerophrynus ledongensis — Frost, 2010, Amph. Spec. World Online, vers. 5.4: Change based on statement of association with "Bufo" galeatus in original publication.

Montane Hainan Island, China.

Comment

Confused with Ingerophrynus galeatus prior to its naming. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 208-209, provided a brief account (as Bufo ledongensis) including photographs. Shi, 2011, Amph. Rept. Fauna Hainan: 42-43, provided an account (as Bufo galeatus).
