Gymnopis pricei Dunn, 1944, Caldasia, 2: 473. Holotype: MCZ 36902 (formerly in ICN), according to Taylor, 1968, Caecilians of the World: 550. Type locality: "El Centro, [Barranca Bermeja, Departamento de] Santander, alt. about 150 m", Colombia in the Magdalena Valley, Caribbean drainage.
