Pseudosiphonops Taylor, 1968, Caecilians of the World: 583. Type species: Pseudosiphonops ptychodermis Taylor, 1968, by original designation. Synonymy by Wilkinson and Nussbaum, 1992, J. Nat. Hist., 26: 680.

Distribution

Known definitely only from Rio de Janeiro (state), Brazil.

Comment

Wilkinson and Nussbaum, 2006, In Exbrayat (ed.), Reprod. Biol. Phylog. Gymnophiona: 49, 67, diagnosed the taxon and suggested that the monophyly of this taxon is undocumented. See comment under Luetkenotyphlus.
