Scolecomorphus lamottei Nussbaum, 1981, Copeia, 1981: 265. Holotype: MNHNP 1979.7441, by original designation. Type locality: "Mont Oku, 2300 m, Cameroon".

English Names

Mont Oku Caecilian (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 26).

Distribution

Known only from Mount Oku, Cameroon, ca. 2300 m elevation.

Comment

Doherty-Bone, Ndifon, San Mauro, Wilkinson, LeGrande, and Gower, 2011, J. Nat. Hist., London, 45: 827-841, reported on the genetic similarity, but distinctiveness, of this species to Crotaphatrema tchabalmbaboensis
