Type locality: "the end of Nalumukku tea estate towards Upper Kodayar (8° 33′ N, 77° 21′ E; 1265 m), in the environs of Kalakad-Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, part of the Agasthiyamalai Biosphere Reserve, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu State, India".
