Ichthyophis nigroflavus Taylor, 1960, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 40: 101. Holotype: USNM 129462, by original designation. Type locality: "'within 20 miles of Kuala Lumpur,' Selangor, Malaya", Malaysia.
