Ichthyophis humphreyi Taylor, 1973, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 50: 190. Holotype: EHT-HMS 8378, by original designation; current location not known; not identified in FMNH, possibly in UIMNH. Type locality: Unknown, "but presumed to be from southern Asia or a neighboring island of Indonesia".
