Ichthyophis glandulosus Taylor, 1923, Philipp. J. Sci., 22: 516. Holotype: EHT 1595A, by original designation; now CAS 60073 according to Slevin and Leviton, 1956, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 28: 534. Type locality: "Abungabung [= Abung Abung], Basilan [Island]", Philippine Islands.

English Names

Abungabung Caecilian (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 25).

Distribution

Known only from Basilan and Mindanao Is., Philippines.

Comment

Inger, 1954, Fieldiana, Zool., 33: 208, regarded this form to be probably conspecific with Ichthyophis monochrous.
