Ichthyophis bernisi Salvador, 1975, Bonn. Zool. Beitr., 26: 367. Holotype: MNCN 1240, by original designation. Type locality: "Isla de Java", Indonesia.

English Names

Indonesia Caecilian (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 25).

Distribution

Known only from the imprecise type locality (Java, Indonesia).

Comment

Iskandar, 1998, Amph. Java Bali: 28-29, regarded this taxon as possibly not a Javan species as it has never been recollected.
