Type(s): Formerly in ZMB; now lost according to Taylor, 1968, Caecilians of the World: 686; Bauer, Good, and Günther, 1993, Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 69: 298. Type locality: "Mundame am Mungo in Kamerun"; given as "Victoria [now Limbé], Cameroon, West Africa", by Taylor, 1968, Caecilians of the World: 686; this considered in error by Wilkinson, Müller, and Gower, 2003, Afr. J. Herpetol., 52: 120.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Cameroon), and the lost holotype.
