Oscaecilia zweifeli Taylor, 1968, Caecilians of the World: 620. Holotype: AMNH 20079, by original designation. Type locality: "a small creek tributary to Río Mazaruni, British Guiana [= Guyana]".

Distribution
Known only from the imprecise type locality (Guyana).
Comment
Lescure and Marty, 2000, Collect. Patrimoines Nat., Paris, 45: 296, provided a photo and brief account for French Guiana.
