Eastern side of the Isthmus of Darien in Panama and south through the Pacific lowlands of western Colombia.
Comment
Removed from the synonymy of Caecilia tentaculata by Savage and Wake, 2001, Copeia, 2001: 56, where it had been placed by Boulenger, 1895, Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1895: 406, this considered tentative by Taylor, 1968, Caecilians of the World: 443.
