Type locality: "Kedetler", which lies about 17 km SW of Antalya, in southwestern Anatolia, Turkey. Type locality discussed and corrected to "along the Antyalya-Altinyaka road, about 7 km north-east of Kedetler, at the edge of the village Hurma", Turkey, by Veith, Baran, Godmann, Kiefer, Öz, and Tunç, 2001, Zool. Known from isolated populations: in the vicinity of the type locality near Kedetler (about 17 km southwest of Antalya); north of Antalya in the mountains north to Thermessos; and around the village of Yaga Köyü, all in southwestern Turkey, 100-800 m elevation.
