Distribution

Isolated records in fragments of Atlantic Forest in eastern Bahia (Salvador, Fazenda Boa Sorte, and Uruçuca) and northeastern Minas Gerais (Fazenda Limoeiro), Brazil.

Silva, Lourenço-de-Moraes, Siqueira, and Solé, 2011, Check List, 7: 825-826 provided a range extension within Bahia (as Rhinella boulengeri).
