Distribution

Cumberland Plateau of eastern Kentucky into extreme north-central Tennessee, southwestern West Virginia, and extreme western Virginia, USA.

Amph. Rept., 382. Highton, 2000, in Bruce et al., Biol. Plethodontid Salamanders: 230, suggested that more than one species masquerades under this name.
