Hydromantes supramontis Lanza, Nascetti, and Bullini, 1986, Boll. Mus. Reg. Sci. Nat. Torino, 4: 270. Holotype: MZUF 15620, by original designation. Type locality: "small natural karstic well immediately south of Scala 'e Pradu, about 1225 m a.s.l. (Sopramonte di Oliena; Nuoro)", eastern Sardinia, Italy.
