Speleomantes imperialis sarrabusensis Lanza, Leo, Forti, Cimmaruta, Caputo, and Nascetti, 2001, Pianura, 13: 83-84. Holotype: MZUF 25532, by original designation. Type locality: "Sotto pietre ai piedi della collino Bruncu de su Crabu, 240-260 m s.l.m, 39° 15′ 20″ N-03° 20′ 50″ W (Roma; 09° 20′ 54″ E Greenwich) (Sardegna SE Sàrrabus, gruppo del Monte dei Sette Fratelli, provincia di Cagliari, comune di Quartuccio), sotto una pietra in area granitica con zone erbose e bassa macchia mediterrana".

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality in eastern Sardinia, Italy.
