Thorius lunaris Hanken and Wake, 1998, Copeia, 1998: 318. Holotype: MVZ 183292, by original designation. Type locality: "1.5 km by road west of Texmola, on southwestern slopes of Volcán Orizaba, Veracruz, México, elevation 2640 m".
English Names
Crescent-nostriled Thorius (Liner and Casas-Andreu, 2008, Herpetol. Circ., 38: 36).
Distribution
Pine-oak woodland on the southern and southeastern flanks of Volcán Orizaba, in the vicinity of the type locality (Texmola, Veracruz, Mexico), 2500-2640 m elevation.
