Nototriton adelos Papenfuss and Wake, 1987, Acta Zool. Mexicana, N.S.,, 21: 7. Holotype: MVZ 112226, by original designation. Type locality: "65 km NE (by Mex. Hwy. 175) of Gueletao, Oaxaca, Mexico. Found in a bromeliad."

Distribution

Cloud forest at elevations of 1530-2050 m on the Caribbean slopes of the Sierra de Juarez and Sierra Mazateca, Oaxaca, Mexico.
