Pseudoeurycea tlilicxitl Lara-Góngora, 2003, Bull. Maryland Herpetol. Soc., 39: 29. Holotype: MZFC 01461, by original designation. Type locality: "3 Km S of Laguna Quila, near Las Trancas mountain brook, in Parque Nacional Miguel Hidalgo (Lagunas de Cempoala), state of México. Elevation 2950 m asl. It was found under a log, in a humid fir forest", Mexico.
English Names
Black-footed Salamander (Liner and Casas-Andreu, 2008, Herpetol. Circ., 38: 35).
Distribution
Vicinity of the type locality in the Parque Nacional Lagunas de Cempoala in the Distrito Federal and the states of México and Morelos, possibly extending east to extreme western Puebla, Mexico.
Comment
In the Pseudoeurycea leprosa group according to the original publication. Raffaëlli, 2007, Les Urodèles du Monde: 205-206, provided a brief account, photograph, and map.
