Oedipina (Oedopinola) tomasi McCranie, 2006, J. Herpetol., 40: 291. Holotype: USNM 562862, by original designation. Type locality: "near Sendero de Cantiles, Parque Nacional El Cusuco, 15° 30′ N, 88° 14′ W, 1800 m elevation, Departamento de Cortés, Honduras".

Comment
Apparently closely related to Oedipina gephyra according to the original publication. Raffaëlli, 2007, Les Urodèles du Monde: 284, provided a brief account and map. McCranie, 2007, Herpetol. Rev., 38: 36, summarized the departmental distribution in Honduras.
