Nototriton matama Boza-Oviedo, Rovito, Chaves, García-Rodríguez, Artavia, Bolaños, and Wake, 2012, Zootaxa, 3309: 48. Holotype: UCR 20215, by original designation. Type locality: "from the southeastern end of the Fila Matama (coordinates: 9.8071° N, 83.1683° W) at an elevation of 1300 m", Provincia de Limón, Costa Rica.

English Names

Matama Moss Salamander(original publication).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the Fila de Matama, a large moutnain ridge that arises as part of the Cerro Chirripó, Provincia de Limón, Costa Rica.

Comment

In the Nototriton picadoi group according to the original publication.
