Nototriton lignicola McCranie and Wilson, 1997, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 110: 369. Holotype: USNM 497539, by original designation. Type locality: "Cerro de Enmedio (15° 06′ N, 86° 44′ W) along the trail above the Monte Escondido campground, Parque Nacional La Muralla, 1780 m elev., Departamento de Olancho, Honduras".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known from the vicinity of the type locality at intermediate elevations (1760-1780 m) of Cerro de Enmedio in the northwestern portion of Olancho, and and ca. 45 km to the west in the Parque Nacional Montaña de Yoro in the northern Depto. Francisco Morazán, at 1829 m, all on the Atlantic versant of Honduras.
