Distribution

Southern New York southwestward through the Appalachian and Ozark uplifts to southeastern Kansas, eastern Oklahoma, central Missouri, central and eastern Tennessee, northern Alabama, northwestern Georgia, extreme western North Carolina, western Virginia, and northern New Jersey, USA.
