Nototriton sanctibarbarus McCranie and Wilson, 1997, Southwest. Nat., 41: 111. Holotype: LACM 47198, by original designation. Type locality: "Montaña de Santa Barbara (14° 55′ N, 88° 07′ W), 2100 m elevation, Departamento de Santa Bárbara, Honduras".

Cloud forests on the Atlantic slope of the Montaña de Santa Barbara, western Honduras, 1829-2744 m elevation.
