Bolitoglossa tatamae Acosta-Galvis and Hoyos, 2006, Herpetologica, 62: 302. Holotype: MUJ 2195, by original designation. Type locality: "Tatamá Mountain, western Cordillera, . . . . Colombia, Departamento de Risaralda, Municipio de Santuario, Vereda Campamento; left margin the Mapa River, 2130 m. 5° 5′ N and 76° 01′ W".
