Bolitoglossa splendida Boza-Oviedo, Rovito, Chaves, García-Rodríguez, Artavia, Bolaños, and Wake, 2012, Zootaxa, 3309: 42. Holotype: UCR 19835, by original designation. Type locality: "headwaters region of the Lori branch of the Río Coén near Cerro Arbolado (coordinates 9.3567° N, 83.229° W) at 1826 m elevation, Provincia de Limón, Costa Rica".

English Names

Splendid Web-footed Salamander(original publication).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality, a short distance north of the continental divide and below Cerro Arbolado in the Sierra de Talamanca, 1826 m elevation, Provincia de Limón, Costa Rica.
