Type locality: "Quebrada Bochoramá, Loma de Encarnación, Departamento de Chocó, Colombia, about 51 km (32 mi) SE of Quibdo at approximately 76° 23′ W, 5° 20′ N . . . . at about 400 m (1312 ft) elevation".
