Bolitoglossa ramosi Brame and Wake, 1972, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 219: 9. Holotype: LACM 64601, by original designation. Type locality: "near Represa de Santa Rita (= Santa Rita Dam Site), Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia. This site is between Guatapé and San Rafael at about 75° 7′ W, 6° 17′ N, ca. 16 km by road NE of Guatapé . . . . Elevation about 1930 m (6330 ft.)".
