Known only from the type locality (Páramo del Duende, Cerro Calima, Municipio de Río Frío, Departamento de Valle del Cauca, Colombia, between 3300 and 3600 m).
Comment
Tentatively placed in the Bolitoglossa palmata group (ca. = Bolitoglossa adspersa group) in the original publication.
