Type locality: "Colombia, Department de Santander, Municipality of Encino, Cartagena stream, enlargement area of Flora and Fauna Sanctuary Guanentá, Alto Río Fonce, vereda La Chapa, Department of Santander, west flank from Cordillera Oriental, Colombia, elevation 1836 m. 06° 06′ 58.2″ N and 73° 07′ 34.4″ W."
