Oedipus flavimembris Schmidt, 1936, Field Mus. Nat. Hist. Publ., Zool. Ser., 20: 158. Holotype: FMNH 20381, by original designation. Type locality: "Volcan Tajumulco, at 7200 feet, on the trail above El Porvenir, San Marcos [Department], Guatemala".

Distribution

Known only from the slopes of Volcán Atitlán, Volcán Tajumulco, and Volcán Tacaná and from the mountains along the southwestern escarpment of the Guatemalan Plateau, at elevations between 1800-2200 m (Guatemala); adjacent border area of Chiapas, Mexico, to Volcán Tacaná.
