Type locality corrected to "apparently along the Quebrada del Infierno on the eastern slope of the Cerro de La Virtúd" by McCranie and Wilson, 2002, Amph. Honduras: 116; expanded by McCranie, 2008, Cat. Am. Amph. Rept., 841: 3, to "along the Quebrada del Infierno on the eastern slopes of the Cerra de la Virtúd, 1370 m elevation, 15° 32′ N, 88° 06′ W".
