Bolitoglossa borburata Trapido, 1942, Bol. Soc. Venezol. Cienc. Nat., 8: 297. Holotype: USNM 115509, by original designation. Type locality: "Valle del Río Borburata, Estado Carabobo, Venezuela, 1200 m."

English Names

Carabobo Mushroomtongue Salamander (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 29).

Distribution

Type locality (State of Carabobo), the Rancho Grande and Choroni area of the State of Aragua, and the Sierra de Aroa in Yaracuy, Venezuela, 800-1300 m elevation.
