Thompson's Water Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 85).
Known only from the type locality in the Cordillera Occidental, Departamento La Libertad Department, in the northern Peruvian Andes, ca. 3290 m elevation.
