Telmatobius philippii Cuevas and Formas, 2002, Rev. Chilena Hist. Nat., 75: 246. Holotype: IZUA 3093, by original designation; destroyed by fire on 3 December 2007. Type locality:"Quebrada de Amincha (35° 28′ S, 71° 11′ O, 3.800 m de altitud), 7 km al NO de Ollagüe, 196 km al NE de Calama (por carretera), provincia El Loa, región de Antofagasta, cordillera de Los Andes, Chile".
