Comment

Account provided by De la Riva, 2005, in Lavilla and De la Riva (eds.), Monogr. Herpetol., 7: 76-77, and noted that populations nominally associated with Telmatobius marmoratus in the area of the volcanic Cordilla Occidental of Bolivia and adjacent Chile may be assignable to this species, but require genetic study. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 413.
