Theloderma lateriticum Bain, Nguyen, and Doan, 2009, Zootaxa, 2191: 60. Holotype: AMNH 168757/IEBR A. 0860, by original designation. Type locality: "Vietnam, Lao Cai Province, Van Ban District, Nam Tha Commune, above the Nam Tha river in disturbed, submontane semi-evergreen forest near 21° 54′56″ N, 104° 21′ 39″E, between 1300-1400 m elevation".

English Names

Brick-red Bug-eyed Frog (Ziegler and Nguyen, 2010, Bonn Zool. Bull., 57: 139).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Nam Tha Commune, Van Ban District, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam) in submontane tropical evergreen forest.
